Things have been good on the writing front. Last Thursday (11/01/07) I finfished the second draft of The Fourteenth Colony, my first novel. I'm going to take a little break from it and do this. I always wanted to to this thing and now I can. Is writing another novel in an unreasonable amount of time a good way to take a break from writing a novel? Well, I don't know, but it's something.
In other writing news, I've had a story accepted for publication. Exciting stuff. All the details aren't together yet, but as soon as I have a publication date, I'll post it here.
I'm doing my best to get this album finsihed. If all goes well I want to have it out by next Spring. We shall see. I'v posted a few rough mixes over on myspace. Go to my My Space site to check it out.
In other music news, well there are some really fine people who have included "Happy all the Time" on the inaugural What's Kickin' compilation series. The song closes out the cd and sounds pretty good. Thanks to Gerry and Steve and all the other folks involved for making me feel loved. Go here to check it out and buy a copy. I have had to let the Star City web site run its course after many years of keeping it afloat. I just couldn't justify the expense of keeping the site going.
